cphJournal is international, interdisciplinary and peer-reviewed. We support innovative, integrative, wholistic and exploratory approaches to research, inquiry and professional debate. We view professional counselling as a meeting place of diverse ideas. The journal encourages contributions from practitioners, researchers, and members of the public. We welcome input from many fields including counselling, education, psychotherapy, psychology, nursing, health, mental health, social work, as well as the arts and humanities.
Our editions are free and open to the public. Our vision builds on the strengths of Australia while embracing the world. We open space for discussing the many issues facing people in contemporary contexts. Our editions also address issues particular to counselling as an emerging profession. We support cultural exploration, multicultural concerns, as well as Aboriginal and First Nations issues. cphJournal is the official research publication of The Australian Counselling Association, and is listed with the Australian Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST).
